Tammy Richardson Tammy Denease Richardson comes to the East Haddam Stage Company with a rich background in storytelling. Born in Columbus Mississippi, Ms. Richardson spent countless hours with her grandmother and great grandmother, enthralled with the stories of the family's ancestry. Ms Richardson's great grandmother was a former enslaved person who lived to be 125. Her grandmother lived to be 100. As a result, Ms. Richardson brings a unique experience to her portrayal of Elizabeth Keckly. Throughout Connecticut, Ms. Richardson works as a historical tour guide as well as a museum educator and teaching artist. Ms. Richardson also shares the lives of several other women of history in her storytelling programs Historical Firsts Press Photos:
