Stephanie Jackson, of Farmington CT, is a graduate of the University of Connecticut. She originated the role of Elizabeth Keckly for the East Haddam Stage Company in 2006.
Stephanie has previously created roles in such diverse productions as Tiwanna Lewis's social issues theatre piece "Slice of Life" and portrayed the ancient African leader Yaa Asantewaa for UCONN.
During the past 15 years Stephanie has been an assistant special education teacher with Connecticut's Oak Hill School for the Blind. While not performing or teaching, Stephanie is the proud Mother of Jessica, and Isaiah a little boy who loves cars.
